Works Orders
Works Orders is a Sage 200 Manufacturing module which works alongside the Operation Times module.
Use the Works Orders module to record the production of parts, using components specified on the BOM A stock assembly and process costing system, which provides facilities to specify the structure of finished items in terms of sub-assemblies and components. or in the estimate. You can:
- Manually create batch and one-off works order records.
- By saving sales orders if works order linking is set up. Batch works orders are raised.
- By actioning recommendations in the MRP module.
- From the Trial Kitting window in the Bill of Materials module.
- By turning an estimate into a works order.
- Link works orders to sales orders.
- Print works orders documents.
- Allocate stock.
- Issue stock.
- Scrap components.
- Substitute traceable components.
- Produce standard reports.
- Complete and close works orders.
- Post operation times and costs.
